Empire Ants

I've been sitting on this for a small eternity, hoping to finish all the gifs in my hoard, but realistically that's gonna take forever because I just do not have the spoons to deal with my laptop for long periods of time anymore and won't be able to replace it anytime soon. So here, have what I've made so far.

Words can't explain how glad I am to see Ilhoon returning to some semblance of the spotlight, so have this quick little set of icons featuring his glorious new long-haired look.

I shall now continue to pretend I'm not years behind on iconning and at a critical spoon deficit which makes even cropping little squares of my hyperfixations exhausting.

It's been on my mind for a while and I think I've finally hit the point where any unnecessary step in tagging icon sets creates large enough of a spoon deficit that I don't even want to make the icons, let alone post them. Thus, after way more consideration than is likely warranted, I've decided to do away with the "aesthetic" tags. Realistically, I tagged sets with them even if only one icon fit the criteria, so it was just a bunch of white noise anyway for people who may have liked having quick access to "who looks like a biker here" or "who has soldier outfits" and such things.

I'm still internally debating, but some of the feature tags may go away in the future, too. If they do, things like glasses, weapons, and pregnancy will stay because I know those are frequently sought in rp land.

Kookie with fringe has exactly two settings: adorably cute and innocent to the point you wanna pinch his cheeks and bake him cookies, and so drop-dead gorgeous that you can't help but stare. This icon set features both extremes, because I've recently become obsessed with his fringe-inclusive hairstyle.

I made these for Anya to use on Glowfic, so there's also a zip available containing larger versions of these icons, ranging all the way up to 400x400, in both raw and sharpened varieties. If you download the zip, you do not need to also download the IJ sized icons because they're contained within it.

In my apparent desperation to create an intense spoon deficit, I've changed from a text-based list of planned sets to this monstrosity that will make anyone with limited data or a slow connection weep. (There's only around 50MB of photos on the page, each a small .jpg file, but I've been stuck on connections before - and in fact usually am when traveling - where that's an insanely large amount of data to download due to the crap speeds.)

No, I don't know wtf is wrong with me. Nor do I know if I'll stick with it for long. But for now, this is the new Planned Sets page. It has pretty pictures and filtering options and it's mobile responsive, so uh... yay?

Let me know if you're a frequent user of this list and the size is detrimental to your connection, please. If there's demand for it I may either regroup or make a supplemental text list. But I kinda lowkey assume most people don't even view this list and care far more about what's already iconned.

Yes, in fact, I did icon a YouTube short. Because I think I might be in love with Huta's floofy hair and the new song. Also because I'm a little bit insane.
