Empire Ants

Look, I haven't really been making icons lately because it turns out there's only x amount of free time in a day and there's roughly x¹⁰ things I want to complete, but when Ace ran into a need for more dark-haired Yoongi without a gaint face scar I was happy to get back into the swing of things for a night. Because honestly? The internet could always use more Yoongi icons.

I planned for my next set to be the long black hair, but I have hundreds of images for that and i wanted to do a set I could finish in one sitting to initiate the Accomplishment Emotions in my brainmeat. Something tells me Ace won't mind, because it still means more Yoongi icons in the world. 😉

I am so mad with the quality of most of these, and the general lack of images online. But I guess that's what happens when the most interesting villain gets the least screen time. 😞

This all began with a random photo my parabatai found wherein Betty's hair looked blue from the lighting. Her Betty happens to be in a relationship with my Toni, which means this line of thinking kinda spiralled out of control and became Betty should dye her hair. But where were we going to find blue-haired icons? Exactly. Thus, I volunteered faster than Katniss when Prim was reaped and these icons were born.

It only took like a week of hand-painting the hair (and occasionally shirts/makeup) and individually adjusting the lighting on some of my previous icon sets to create these. This is a thing sane people do... right?

Look, I just refuse to accept that he's in his 50s now, okay? Wee youthful Keanu will always have a place in my heart - to go along with that place in the pb slot of a new muse.

This is just a random assortment of photoshoots and such labelled as being in the 1980s. The quality varies due to inconsistent sources.

I have no clue what to say other than these are animated versions of some of the stillframes in the previous set. All from the 1986 film River's Edge, yanked from tumblr (back when it was relevant, bye Felicia tumblr) then edited for size.

I found these hiding out in a misnamed folder while trying to organize icons. They were made... a couple years ago I think? Something like that. I needed some of the expressions for a muse and took initiative.

Nothing fancy or edited here. Just some gifs cut for size and some stillframe crops, primarily from his role as Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls (but I think one or two from House of Wax and/or Christmas Cottage may have slipped in when I wasn't looking).
